Wow! Week four already!
This week has been intense, with Uni classes wrapping this week and and exam on Thursday...Eeek! I have been head down bum up!
This week I have done a logo fork on my report and finished it on monday! As you can see from the scrapbook paper note I made.
I have used a lot of post it notes this week due to the writing in texta last week blending through the paper everything just dispaered with all the ink marks.
Even with my report out the way I have only just stared studying, although making my study plan on Thursday, procrastinating is horrible thing, I just can't seem to beat it at the moment. No motivation at all. So while in procrastinating phaseI broke out the coloured pencils and coloured in the right hand notes page.
So there you have it, my very busy first half of the weekend my procrastination leading to doing everything besides studying.
A strange jumble of all things fabulous! Stationery, make up, the world, politics, reading, movies...

Commitment: 12WBT!
Hello
So I have recently joined Michelle Bridges 12WBT. This is something very outside my comfort zone. All my life I have been a big person, which to be honest I never really cared all that much about, and I still don't overall, I really like the person I am.
So why am I doing this? Well I am a naturally born lazy person, I procrastinate and just don't do things if it looks to hard. So this is to challenge myself to kick my but into gear and do this. They say give something to a busy person and it will get done. I have over a month off from Uni and I need to keep myself busy, this has come at the perfect time!
My goal? As trivial as it may seem, I bought a number of different clothing items online quite some time ago, whilst they just fit me I (yet again couldn't be bothered to return them...laziness strikes again!) I want to be able to wear those clothes out and feel comfortable going out in them.
I also want to get moving,I always drive to the shop that is a 5,in walk away, I always park close to places because I don't want to walk that far.
Upon. My return to Uni with my new timetable in place. I want to make use of the campus gym and take Zumba classes.(pushing the comfort zones again). I also want to utilize the huge campus grounds we have and not dread walking here there and everywhere.
So there you have it, there is my commitment.
Now the list checker in me is happy, I can now go and tick another program task off!

My week #3 + mini haul + Planner Fail?
Wow! Week three already! Seems like its been forever.
This week has been a long one. I have been super busy with Uni, if you have read my previous post you will see how crazy exams and end of semester reports make me.
So this week, I used my Fabre Castell connector pens (yes grown ups can use textas.) it looks pretty, but it the bleeding through to next week is terrible! Lesson learnt.
Friday was such a busy day, I had my Uni presentation due which we all had to meet early to finish it up.
It was also the hottest day in Sydney since they started recording the weather! I was walking around and could feel the heat through the soles of my shoes on the pavement. We where all melting!
This week I have been utilizing my diary I bought the other week for all my Uni work. I think this will be my new system for a while. It just saves my littering my Filofax with crazy notes once I start up next semester. However I think I'm suffering from FF planner fail. I'm lusting over an A5. I just think they make life easier when adding your own inserts. I also love the inserts for the A5 the week view with the 5 columns is lovely, it's also like my company work diary!
I also went to officeworks today and picked up a few post it notes and some Avery tabs, (as I didn't know until today we actually had cool things like that here!)
How was your week? Did you melt in the heat or freeze in the cold?
Any advice on switching to a A5 FF from a personal?

Exam Time!
Hello again!
In my wisdom, I decided to do a class over summer. Looking at it now, not the best idea, a whole terms worth of work compressed into about 8 weeks. Eeekk! I just completed a horrible mid term test, a presentation. I have a group report due on Wednesday and my final exam about a week and a half away. (and yet here I am writting a blog post and watch The City marathon...)
Studying for my mid term exam, didn't go that well. I scraped through with just a pass, which is super annyoing! but damn that was a hard exam.
Soo with end of semester exams approaching I want to develop a Study approach.
Last year I had a crazy system, where I would break out the faber castell texta's and create posters with definitions and scattered them through out the house. (I'm sure my family can now rattle off the 7 p's of marketing.)
As I still haven't got an outline of what I need to study (again so annyoing) I have started where I left my mid term exam notes, from my text book where I write crazy ammount of notes and have them in bright colours so they are fun to read.
I also print off my lecture slides, and sit and cut out important lecutre slides and post them into a work book. Which works really well, although defeats my attempts of cutting down my paper usage.
Not to sure how I'm going to go about studying for this exam, does anyone have ideas or know of any blogs where people have developed a good system, I'm looking for ideas to steal.
Back to work...(who am I kidding, I'll be watching TV with the cat on my lap after I finish this post...)

Pen Love!
Hello again!
I have been doing a fair bit of writing leading up to my exams, thought I would share my new love. Whilst I know a lot of people love their fountain pens etc, I have to say I just love the Pilot Frixion Pens! They are practical and are awesome!
I love the different colours they come in, the fact that they have a fine tip, I love that you can erase the ink, and that it actually does erase the ink, not like those 'pen rubbers' we used to have back in primary school. I love the fact they make your normal pen with the lids and retractable ones.
today I was chatting to the girl sitting next to me in class and she saw me erase something out of my diary (another reason I flipping love them) and we got talking about them, I said I was desperate to find highlighters like the pens, so I hopped online to one of the major stationary retails here and discovered that the do make highlighters!!! They also come in a number of different colours!!!
This just made my afternoon, will be popping out tomorrow to get some highlighters!

My week #2
Hello again!
I know I'm running a tad late on this weeks post...feeling a bit down as everyone else has such pretty planners and mine is just boring.
Yet again, here is my week...next week is looking much more prettier.
This week has been consumed with my Uni exam, so I have also included my study plan for my exam.
I've always had a5 bound planners which I was always colouring them in and they looked fab, really struggling to find my groove in fancying up my personal sized.
What are your must haves for making your planner weeks fabulous?

My week #1
Happy Sunday everyone!
This week I have joined in Paper Lovestory's Weekly Planner Post for the year. Whilst mine may not be as colourful or a pretty as everyone elses. I am working on it,
My week was meant to be really busy, however I have spent most of it in bed and watching the Hills marathon on MTV. Ooops! (don't judge, we all watch trash tv)
So as punishment I will be rewritting them into next weeks note section.

Also if you notice on the right hand side you will see my paint swatches, the blue is freakishly like my Kingfisher Blue metropol. (LOVE)
Hope you all had a great week! :)

Handmade Filofax Inserts
Hello!
So it's almost 5am on a Sunday morning, I've been up all night due to the heat of summer here in Sydney, In my sleepless mental state I made some inserts for my planner! Yay!
So this was my first one - I didn't notice how uncentred it is until I looked at this photo :(. I just used a old Christmas card as the base as the bottom paper is almost fabric like. I will be using this insert for my uni things, important dates, GHANT charts, to do lists ect.
So this one turned out a little better I used another card as the base and just some scrap booking paper with some rub on stickers...not bad considering it was about 4am.
Behind this insert will be where I keep my goals..I never thought about keeping these in my planner, but hey, everyone else does.
I'm planning to make one more to keep my Misc ongoing projects...I don't know about some of you, but I feel like I really do not have all that much to do or using my planner to it's potential.
What else do you put into your planner?
x

New Year Promises
So with the turn of the new year, people make resolutions, I however don't like that word as most people never seem to stick to them (myself included!) So I have decided to make myself a promise.
I promise to myself that I will;
I'm sure there will be plenty more, but that's it for starters...
Have a lovely day!
x
I promise to myself that I will;
- Try my very best to achieve at least a credit or higher on my uni subjects.
- I will put away at least $20 a week for my phone bill so there will be no nasty deductions from my account.
- I will keep myself motivated and look at new ways to develop my own business.
- I will not spend money on crazy purchases
- I will go for an hour long walk at least twice a week (after my walk around Balmain, I have come the the conclusion that it really wasn't that bad)
- On the days where I am at home I will be up by 7.30am
- I will be organised
- I will try to keep the house and my room tidy
- I will read at least 2 books a month
I'm sure there will be plenty more, but that's it for starters...
Have a lovely day!

Planner cuteness!
Hello!
I found the cutest planner at newsagency in Central Station last night. This is a Letts Lady Date Diary...to be honest I purely picked it up because it was shiny! (because that doesn't sound like me LOL!)
Even the pages have gold edging on them and it comes with a cute little pencil that slides into the spine.
It has many little bits and bobs, useful info like airlines, major hotels, transport companies etc,
It has a week on one page layout. It is very tiny, not sure how it will go with my messy handwritting and being left handed.
Oooohhh it's just so cute and sparkely!
