Garnier BB Cream - Review Part One

I thought I would do a bit of a review of the hype product of the moment "BB Cream". The Garnier cream has has a lot of advertisement in Australia over the past few months; I've only just got my hands on it. The whole reason why I purchased it was just to make up my limit for free shipping from Chemist Warehouse during the Click Frenzy Sale.

I had read some reviews on Vogue Forums about it, there seems to be some mixed results. I am normally a 'full face' make up girl, but lately I have been using Napoleon Perdis's Tinted Moisturiser.
So onto the product, I was a bit hesitant to use this product as many years ago I had used a Garnier cream once and had the worst stinging sensation I have been put off it since. Upon opening the box I was rather surprised at the amount of product in the tube, much more then I had expected. The product its self seems to be slightly greasy. I made the mistake of applying it with my foundation brush as the greasiness means I now have to wash it. So my suggestion is use your fingers.
Again, with the greasiness, I would recommend that you set it with powder and it feels like it is running off your face through the day. However, we have had really warm days here in Sydney, I'm sure any make up would run down your face.
BB cream is meant to have "healing qualities"...not too sure, about this, we shall see. I am going to use it through the week, will post more thoughts once a week is over

Click Frenzy Sales Part One

Ok, so earlier this week we had 'Click Frenzy Sale' here in Australia. I scored a few bargains, very pleased!

So I thought I would show off some of my new goodies!

Below is a picture of 2 necklaces I had been lusting over forever in Diva but I really didn't think they were worth the attached price tag.

So here they are;

New Purchase!

I am back!

This time to show you my new purchase! I have been stalking reading the marvellous posts by people at Philofaxy for a few weeks, I fell in love with the creativeness and practical things people were posting, my mind was made up. I HAD TO HAVE ONE!

But which one? Which size? Which colour?

I really love the red deco (left) and the red classic (right) but the price point really killed it, I wasn't to sure I was actually going to use them and didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for it just to sit there.

So with my mind set on purchasing a Metropol after reading this amazing blog aquirkygirl. She has this amazing raspberry pink coloured Metropol, which I adore, but I have a love hate relationship with the colour pink (at the moment I love it) so I decided to go with the Kingfisher blue.

I finally found a cheap US company that ships to Australia called, Goldspot there was a few things that seemed slightly suss about it, but I took a risk and purchased my planner and inserts for next year. The diary came to $31(ish) US dollars (beats the $70AUS), god knows what the inserts cost...(I just really can't be bothered to find the invoice) but the trackable shipping option cost me $48US!!!! That is more then the planner!

We have Australia Post deliver to our workplace everyday, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it, finally on Tuesday it arrived!

And here it is.....*DRUM ROLL PLEASE*

Ohhhh!!!!!  I opened it at work, none of the other girls were as excited as me, but they just don't get it.

I haven't had a chance to really play with it yet but will hopefully get to next week :)

Well, hello!

Hello!

Yet another blog has appeared on the Internet, this time it is mine...if I were you I would run far far away and not look back! Things get a little crazy inside my mind and this may become the place to dump all my crazy thoughts.

Moving forward,

Why am I here rambling at 5.30 am? Well 1. I can't sleep. 2. I just received my lovely new 2013 diary!

Over the last few weeks I have read through so many planner posts looking to find the perfect planner, in my quest I found my love again for all things stationary like and organizing  ( that should be with an S, damn IPad and its American spelling). I was once really organized...this has fallen way side this year.

So here you can join me on my journey To become a better organized Uni student, a stationary addict, make up addict and all other joyful musings I think of along the way...

P.s who am I kidding? Like anyone besides me is going to read this....
