minimalistic??

Hello!

I think I may have stumbled across a bit of a holy grail (we are the knights who say Ni! – Monty Python) find here.

In an attempt to be a bit more grown up I am on the hunt for creating a more ‘grown up’ or minimalistic style planner and planning system for my Filofax and my uni work.

Browsing the sale at Notemaker.com.au I found this lovely brand from Korea called O-Check. Their stock range is hard to find in stores and their website only  allows wholesale clients to see there full product range but from what I have seen on Notemaker I am in love!

I would love to purchase these folders to file my notes in for uni

They come in a few colours, a dusky yellow, silver, pink and the grey above.

I am also in love with their cute notebooks, like this one

What really made me fall madly in love is this cute little post it set.

I love how simple it all is. It is cute and girly in a non Hello Kitty PINK PINK PINK way. As you know from my previous post I dislike hello kitty with a passion.

Have you ever used this brand before? Seen it in the shops? Let me know your thoughts.

New Filofax Insert Idea

Hello!

I've been searching the net for some new filofax inserts that I can print (I am having a bit of a planner revamp) I have found a few ideas on Angela's page (paperlovestory) her assignment planners are great! I have also been searching philofaxy's inserts, but I thought of one this morning, which I have been dying to mock up all day and here it is;

A skincare regime reminder page!

I work within the cosmetics and skincare business, so I am a nerd when it comes to make up and skincare, however I am not very good at remembering if I put the clay mask on yesterday or the day before. I was going to mark it in my filofax when I got the brainwave of just making an insert for it.

Here is a picture of it;

I started with a word document and put in a table, starting with just numbers (so I don't have to keep making one each month) and then I just added in the products that I use on a regular basis (It seems like a lot, but I don't use them every day, as they would end up cancelling each other out). You can see the basic Cleanser, toner etc. These change every month or so I haven't listed specifics, however the things that read, "facial peel cream", "complexion refiner" are all Nutrimetics Products. (I mainly use nutirmetics as it's the company I work for www.nutrimetics.com.au/rochelled if you want to look at my page *self promotion*)

So the idea is to keep this in a section that I will tick every day what steps I have completed for that day. So I will always know when I put that clay mask on. (If anyone uses a clay mask, they would know how it brings almost everything out and you look like a pizza face for a few days after lol)

It's the little things in life :)

Is this what they call Planner Fail?

Hello!

Here we are again, pondering what am I going to do next...over the last few weeks I have suffered horrible headaches, which lead me to spend most days in bed avoiding any light.

Over the last few weeks I haven't been doing much, because of this and I feel like my filofax is a little negleted because of it. However, as much as I love my A5 finsbury, I feel like I am not using it in the way I had designed the set up simply because I do actually need that many tabs or that much space.

I thought I could slim it down, but I'm still finding it too bulky to carry around each day, lugging folders and textbooks make it hard enough then lugging an a5 on top of that isn't fun.

I have started using my black slimline as a 'to do' list keeper, I have added in my monthly pages I had in my metropol but I feel a bit strange not having an actual week in there.

As much as I love my new filofax family members I feel like they aren't working well enough for my liking.

I think I may have to go back to my metropol for a while, I really do love that blue colour!

Hmm, I think I will move back into my metropol for now and see how we go with that.

Handmade Filofax Inserts

Hello!

So it's almost 5am on a Sunday morning, I've been up all night due to the heat of summer here in Sydney, In my sleepless mental state I made some inserts for my planner! Yay!

So this was my first one - I didn't notice how uncentred it is until I looked at this photo :(. I just used a old Christmas card as the base as the bottom paper is almost fabric like. I will be using this insert for my uni things, important dates, GHANT charts, to do lists ect.

So this one turned out a little better I used another card as the base and just some scrap booking paper with some rub on stickers...not bad considering it was about 4am.

Behind this insert will be where I keep my goals..I never thought about keeping these in my planner, but hey, everyone else does.

I'm planning to make one more to keep my Misc ongoing projects...I don't know about some of you, but I feel like I really do not have all that much to do or using my planner to it's potential.

What else do you put into your planner?

Planner cuteness!

Hello!

I found the cutest planner at newsagency in Central Station last night. This is a Letts Lady Date Diary...to be honest I purely picked it up because it was shiny! (because that doesn't sound like me LOL!)

Even the pages have gold edging on them and it comes with a cute little pencil that slides into the spine.
It has many little bits and bobs, useful info like airlines, major hotels, transport companies etc,

It has a week on one page layout. It is very tiny, not sure how it will go with my messy handwritting and being left handed.

Oooohhh it's just so cute and sparkely!
